I stopped by this corner cafe on a whim and ordered an almond milk latte – it was smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a surprise squirrel encounter – I’ll definitely be back.
Delicious sandwiches!! Cute little market/Cafe. Interesting little things to buy besides the yummy sandwiches. They also have coffees, salads and super yummy pastries!! They have updated their menu with breakfast items. Looks so good. Definitely going back for breakfast!!!!
A cute corner breakfast place I just spotted today while walking my dog. I love my latte, and the jalapeño sandwich is beyond my expectations! The egg is cooked perfectly and the red peppers are warm and seasoned just right. Will definitely come back and try different sandwiches!
Really cute, tasty, and quaint place!!
Family owned and they are very friendly.
My second time coming here and this time we biked (there is street parking and some poles around you can chain your bike to. But there isn’t really bike parking like it says).
It’s so hard to choose which pastry to eat cause there is a WEALTH of delicious baked goods staring back at you begging you to choose it!! We went with the lemon bar and it was delicious! Had great crust and a lot of custard.
I also wandered around their store section and found the funniest and cutest squirrel air freshener! They have some cute cards and unique items there (like army soldier toys doing diff poses).
There is plenty of seating inside and even seating outside. The decorations are so cute!
We tried the watermelon lemonade and it was kinda bland. My husband tried the orange blossom tea on his last visit and said it was also bland. So their strong suit aren’t the drinks but the food and pastries are amazing!!
We got the crispy chicken sandwich and the flavor was SO GOOD!! The bread was soft and buttery leaving your mouth watering!!
The chia pudding was kinda dry but had a good texture to it. They give plenty of granola inside so that was nice.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a visit!! It is right across from a park as well. It’s a very peaceful place.
I. Love. This. Place.
As a lover of sandwiches, Ginger hold a special place in my heart. Their pastrami sandwich is the best in Pasadena. There is no fight. The home made pickles are mouth watering. The perfect companion for a sandwich so mighty. Thier selection of craft sodas is perfect. And the baked goods are to die for. My friend even asked me to bring them a birthday cupcake from Ginger. I can not recommend this place enough. And I will make the trip out whenever possible.
Pictured is their brisket sandwich!
