Faith & Hope Hospice and Palliative Care

So grateful for such hands-on and compassionate care the hospice staff provided. When I first signed up with the program for my mother, I was not too impressed with how things went, especially with some mix-up with deliveries of supplies and the quality of DME, etc. But Ixinnia G., the care coordinator, made up for all and then some! She really did go above and beyond her call of duty to provide support to me, the primary (an only) caregiver. I could not have survived this ordeal without her patient and compassionate support. Many thanks to the entire staff at Faith & Hope, but especially to Ixinnia.

Aldre and Candice who care for my father are a great team of nurses who really care about their jobs and patients. They both do a great job anticipating our needs and always calls in and checks in on my father. Faith & Hope’s staff is always available when needed and coordinates care with the whole team. They not only take care of my father but are very helpful to my mother who is the primary caregiver for my dad. I commend them in all the work they do.

We first signed up with Faith and Hope in Burbank for hospice services for my father. We found ourselves shortly after, having to look for a skilled nursing facility in the Alhambra area in order to have him be closer to my mother who was at the time, at a rehab center for physical therapy. Ironically so, this happened to be just around the time that Faith and Hope opened up their new location in Pasadena. Fate? Maybe, who knows...but really, who cares. They’re services are phenomenal! Care coordination is extremely on top of every little detail. I couldn’t be happier with whom the care was assigned to in office (Aldre). Every single nurse, social worker, physician, bathing nurse, wound care professional, spiritual coordinator, etc...that was scheduled on the calendar was always there on time (at the latest). If there was a change that needed to occur, whether on our end or theirs, it was always addressed properly and ahead of time. Never did we come across a situation or incident where we felt that we, as a family, were of a nuisance to the agency the way dad always felt as though he was a nuisance to us.
They are so skilled and so experienced at what they do. All that was promised to be delivered from day one (equipment, transportation and supplies included) along with the entirety of the quality care, was delivered. My mother, siblings and I couldn’t thank you enough, Faith and Hope. Dad, we miss you every day. 🙏🏻

When starting services with Faith and Hope in Pasadena, I was an absolute skeptic. Their palliative program was helpful. However, When time came to transition my grandmother’s care onto hospice, it’s hard to put into words what a world of difference it was. Not that the staff or agency or quality in care was any different, but the amount and level of care provided, exceeded any level of health care at home that we’d ever received in the past. Simply put, I can’t imagine how my family nor I could’ve survived such an emotional experience without having their nurses by our side 24/7.
Exceptionally, compassionate agency I’d recommend any one to who would need such services, with zero hesitation. Thank you all so much!

Faith and Hope Hospice is nothing short of everything promised. Compassion, punctuality, integrity and most important of all honesty. Faith and Hope Hospice and Palliative Care exceeded all expectations that our discharge planner from the hospital had indicated when giving us the choice to pick between three different agencies.
