I absolutely LOVE dancing at this studio! The owners Andrea and Renzo are incredibly talented dancers and equally excellent instructors. They are always enthusiastic and encouraging of everyone as are the rest of the instructors. I danced with Arthur Murray 20 years ago at another location and began taking classes at this location in November 2022 once again. My private instructor Alex is a phenomenal dancer and excellent teacher. He has helped me to refine my existing skills and has expanded my abilities in ways I didn't think were possible for me. I attend group classes several times a week as well and those are always soooo much fun. Overall, dancing here has been nothing but a joyful experience!
My husband and I lucked out. There are at least four ballroom dance studios that are closer to where we live, but he happened to see a banner/poster one day when we were in Pasadena and so signed us up for classes at this studio, and I'm so glad he did.
The owners, Andrea and Renzo, are so kind and sweet, as are all the instructors they've hired. Andrea is everybody's biggest cheerleader and is so encouraging and supportive.
We drive 25 miles (50 miles roundtrip!) twice a week every week to attend lessons here and we wouldn't have it any other way. Everybody is so welcoming, they make you feel like family. The group classes that come with the private lessons are so much fun, and I've really enjoyed getting to know our fellow students.
I'm so happy that I get to be a part of the Arthur Murray Pasadena family. Come join us! We ❤️ Arthur Murray Pasadena!!!
I started going here with absolutely zero dancing experience, and from the moment you walk through the door, the instructors are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable right away. I can’t say enough great things about the instructors, they are all very personable, versatile in their teaching methods, and they teach at a pace that works for you.
Definitely a great place that you look forward to going back to, with great instructors who love what they do, and just an overall great community of people.
We absolutely loved our experience with Arthur Murray in Pasadena.
My fiancee and I decided to try out lessons to prep for our first dance and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made together. The program was structured in two parts— group classes combined with 8 private lessons. We learned tons of different dances at the group classes like salsa and foxtrot and focused on Viennese waltz in our private lessons.
Andrea choreographed our entire first dance from start to finish. We selected Planetarium by Justin Hurwitz— which we didn’t realized had mixed meter and tempo changes. Andrea handled all with ease and choreographed to the music perfectly. We love our dance and can’t wait to dance on our wedding night.
All the instructors here are incredibly helpful, positive, and can assist at all levels of dancing competency. As someone who started with 2 left feet, I now feel significantly more ready to tear up the dance floor.
Thank you Andrea and all of the staff for making our experience a great one!
My partner and I have been coming here since November and we couldn’t recommend this studio more! We had no ballroom dancing experience prior and we are so happy we started lessons here. Andrea, Renzo and all the teachers are wonderful! Everyone is so enthusiastic and kind. They are patient and skilled teachers, and you can tell that they love what they do!
