“Right now this is a beautiful place to hike your dogs, go for a walk, ride your bike or just have a peaceful afternoon. There are lots of hiking trails and plenty of wildlife habitat to look at. Lots of Little Critters running around. A perfect place to take the dogs. Unfortunately, there are plans to dredge the whole thing and pull all of the nature out. This is planned to start in November. Please help support keeping this beautiful nature as it is. We don't want to lose our trails and wildlife habitat. Keep this place a five-star. It will become an ugly, open, flat dessert (one-star) if they go forward with the dredge plans.”

“A great park for toddlers to about 8 years old. Large pirate ship themed jungle gym and other things. There is a nearby bathroom and plenty of parking. The parents tend to be a but helicopter'ish, as opposed to letting the kids try to play with each other, but still a fun experience for kids.”

Very big scale places, and inside are beautiful botanical combines diversity of gardens, which Japanese Zen garden is the highlight one. Roses are blooming during Spring season. Tropical monsoon plants and living trees are surviving inside green house. Its nature actually solid for any kind of weather and Los Angeles is perfect for them. I have special bond for cactus.”

“Eaton Canyon Nature Park is a190-acre zoological, botanical, and geological nature preserve situated at the base of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains. We went here on a Sunday morning. The hike to the 40-foot Eaton Canyon Waterfalls can be summed up to: 1.1 miles of wide flat, relatively uneventful dirt trail, followed by 0.65 miles of single track up a narrow canyon that is adventurous and fun (forming a 3.5 mile round trip hike with 375 feet of elevation change). Free parking is available. Dogs are welcome in Eaton Canyon Park and on Eaton Canyon Trail to the waterfall. No fee or permit is required. Overall, I enjoyed my time hiking. It is an easy trail so anyone can do it.”
