We wanted a school where learning to navigate social situations and solve problems/conflicts together was the main focus, not academics, there is plenty of time for that later in life. Cottage Co-Op not only was the right classroom environment for our child, but an amazing community as well. Between the pot-lucks that give you time to talk with parents going through similar challenges to the focus on learning and growing as parents, together in a supportive atmosphere, being a part of this community has changed our lives for the better in everyway. The Co-Op is not easy, there is classroom time, fix-its and family jobs, but putting in the effort only adds to the overall community. Finally, you can’t write a review about a pre-school without talking about the teachers. The small group of amazing professionals here at Cottage are the heart and soul of the school.
