I showed up late in the day, after 4 pm and also after three shops told me I would have to come back tomorrow because my car is a 1997 and requires the dyno machine and more time. I decided I would try one more shop and Hector's is where I should have gone first! They are closer and much more courteous than all others. It did cost me a bit more but I expected that.
I was out of there in less than 30 minutes! They attended me right away, hooked up my car, ran the tests, i signed and that was that! Not sure what all those other shops were talking about. It seems to me that they just did not really want to bother so late in the day.
If you need your car smogged at a STAR shop, go to Hector's, they are legit.
