Angels in Disguise.
I’M GOING TO START BY SAYING THANK YOU WATER PT.
The staff REALLY RALLIED around my recent TKR.
From the enitial evaluation to my final visit covered by insurance, I greatly enjoyed the painful rehabilitation.
I had little or no movement in my left knee on day one, however on my final session I’d reached reasonable flexion and limited cane usage.
Swelling, stiffness, and pain from scar tissue (Arthofibrosis) is my ongoing downfall to overcome. PT sessions from an Aquatic perspective really saved my left leg.
Now, as I transform to land therapy , it’s harder to manipulate the knee and movements.
The Aquatic exercises and therapeutic manipulations put less strain on my back and rt leg.
Getting stronger and more flexible has been a goal to reach baseline.
