One of the better beef noodle soup places around. Its more taiwanese style which i like.
This week I have been on an adventure to eat as many noodle restaurants as possible and this joint seemed to have caught my eye. I was fixated just reading the name of the restaurant, it's quirky, furry and super memorable. When I went with my wife we got the Xiao Long Bao and after arguing ice tea (she HATES ice tea but loved this one). For the that dish we decided on feasting on some Dan Dan noodles with popcorn chicken and it is TO DIE FOR. I have been up at night craving it ever since, literally! Mr. Dragon I hope you see this review because your noodle is always in my house :D
I got the spicy beef noodles and I thought it was kind of bland. We also got for the table the fried buns and it was good but the meat separated from the bread on the very first bite. I don’t know how I feel about that. Less half a star for each count. Would recommend bc overall good. Not the best in L.A. imo.
Soup dumplings weren’t very juicy nor have much soup. Beef rolls are tasty and huge. Passion fruit tea was also good and served in a giant mug. Good service. Modern, clean dining room.
Total for 4 was $55, plus we had leftovers.
So gooood! Had Xiao long bao and spicy tendon+beef noodle soup. Tasted authentic, flavorful and spicy!
