Kyodong is well known and I have been to other places, and this one is just as same! Great food at reasonably priced. Will be back for more lunch!
It was my first visit, it's a fast casual Korean style Chinese restaurant with simple menus just popular dishes. The taste and price was very good, I will come again soon with my friends.
Excellent authentic Korean-Chinese foods. Very friendly people!
This Korean style chinese restaurant, specifically Jjajangmyun and Jjamphong are the best in town.
Wow! Korean Chinese comfort food at its finest. I’ve been in search of good jajangmyun or black bean noodle and jampong which is spicy seafood noodle soup. I loved this stuff as a kid and never understood why I couldn’t find these items on a Chinese restaurant menu :) Now that I realize this is a Korean version of Chinese dishes and are more likely to find in a Korean neighborhood, I know how to search when craving. These places are still hard to find, but happy I tried Kyodong.
For a semi chain restaurant, I thought the dishes were one of the best I have tried. The spicy seafood noodle was spicy and rush in flavor. Noodles are a good addition, but didn’t add too many as I order the combo with sweet and sour pork as well as the black bean noodle. Just couldn’t decide, so ordered all three :)
Black bean noodles were tasty, noodles nice a chewy and I have to say their packaging to go is perfect. See how the noodles and black bean sauce is packed together but separated, so east to carry out but still separated until it’s ready to be eaten. The items were well packaged and still hot after a 40 mins drive home in traffic. Pork was in a vented box, so still crunchy too.
Maybe it’s because it’s been a minute since I’ve had these dishes (over a year) but for today, it hit the spot and then some so five stars from me.
By the way, service was pretty great too. Tiny language barrier as my Korean stinks, but we worked it out and menu is in English too anyway.
