  It’s huge and gorgeous even in winter when the trees are bare. However, there’s only 1 bathroom for this park that is many blocks in all directions. We stopped at Stawberry Fields- a monument for John Lennon who was killed across the street from it in front of his apartment building. Walked for a bit near the lake. We had lunch from a food cart- nothing spectacular and I recommend avoiding them because they’re expensive and not very good. I have seen so many movies with bicycle and horse drawn carriages and thought it would be cool to hire one to take us around the park. Nope. Not for $4.99-14.99 per MINUTE for the bicycle drawn carriage. I asked about a flat rate to go from the American Museum of Natural History to the Guggenheim. One guy wanted $35 and the other wanted $55. That’s for about ½ mile. No idea how much the horse drawn carriage is because none were around. If you visit you must go during daylight hours- too dark otherwise.

  A great park with a ton of activities ranging from the usual (running/walking, baseball, soccer, etc.), to the more unusual (Frisbee golf, two dog areas, concerts in the park). My kids run the cross-country course here regularly, so I have had a chance to explore most of it and I am glad that we have such a nice park available to us.

  Peaceful, yet active with people. Huge park that makes you feel free. You can walk up hills, play soccer, baseball, they have basketball courts and pull up bars, lighting at night, visible restrooms, many parking spots. There's a garden and they occasionally have events, too. Great park, really great. Central park is gorgeous, too, the view of the city from the top is amazing.

  The parks and recreational department of Santa Clarita is second to none. There commitment to being there to answer any questions, or dealing with issues that aren't so pleasant at the parks they do a great job. The parks also are cut on time and clean.

  Has lots of areas for activities. If you play Pokemon Go, it has a couple pokestops and gyms that I drive through and hit up on the way home from work. There are always lots of grass Pokemon hanging out.
  
  My husband used to play softball here, so it also is a great place to connect with the community and have some fun!
