I called this place up and talked to a guy named Floyd. I have an A/C Freon leak and couldn't find it. Floyd told me over the phone that he wouldn't be able to fix it on the spot because he was too buys, but he would help me find the leak. I took it over and with in 5 minutes he found the leak. He didn't even charge me. America needs more guys like Floyd. I recommend this place to everyone. Very trustworthy and reliable!! Thank you American Auto Repair & AC!!

I was driving from LA back home to the Bay. We were in Sherman Oaks when our A/C went out so I told my wife to look for a shop in the Santa Clarita area. She found this shop that had reviews of this shop being very honest and of course very happy customers.

Floyd got my A/C blowing cold again and it was more than just a recharge that was needed for my A/C. He noticed my battery had died while he was working on it so he charged my battery and changed my much needed cabin filter replacement. I had no idea that changing out my cabin filter would give me more gas mileage. It went from 265 miles distance to empty to 385 miles after he serviced my vehicle. If that not what did it then I don’t know what else did. For 2 years I’ve noticed my mileage went from almost 400 miles at full tank to 285 miles. Whatever he did I’m back to 400 miles on a full tank. I’ve serviced my vehicles at other shops and told them about it and they just said, those things are never accurate.

I’m a very satisfied customer and if I didn’t live so far this would be my mechanic.

Floyd has been my mechanic since I was 16 years old. He has worked on all my cars. He is attentive and will tell you exactly what you need to fix on your car. He is super professional and will always get back to you in a timely manner about your car.

Car wouldn’t start so I took it in for a repair. Was out in less than 2 hours. Floyd was super nice and attentive. Highly recommend!
