Dr Liker and Maureen make the greatest team. Dr Liker is friendly, speaks to the point, AND HE CARES. He performed a laminectomy for adult tethered cord syndrome on me, a 53-year old woman. I am still recovering, but my sciatica is gone too! I am very pleased to have had the chance to be Dr Liker's patient. The Heny Mayo Newhall Hospital was hands down, the best hospital I have ever had the privilege of being in and taken care of by exceptional nurse and doctors.

Surgery went well, 3 of 4 symptoms relieved immediately after Hemilaminectomy.
Would’ve liked more explanation of what to expect during post op recovery and what I should and should not do aid and speed recovery.
Staff was accessible and answered questions quickly and responded quickly to help manage severe post op pain.
One complaint, wife not notified upon completion of surgery resulting in severe tongue lashing of ME by wife.

Under Dr Mark Liker and his staff I’ve felt like I was their top priority from the moment I was introduced to everyone. Dr Liker and his staff made me feel important and that my concerns where put at ease with every question I had. I call prior to my surgery and Dr Liker went above and beyond my expectations to walk me thru the surgical procedure. On the day of my surgery we talked again verified with me my procedure checked me over and asked me if I was ready. Once I woke up Dr Liker greeted me again and told me everything went according to plan and asked how I was feeling. On my followup Dr Liker’s examination was through and reported my healing process was going well. I would highly recommend Dr Liker to anyone needing his knowledge, skill set as a surgeon, but also as a doctor with exceptional bed side manor.

Dr. Mark Liker's  knowledge, skills and experience  makes him an exceptional Neurosurgeon.
When I met him on my first appointment, his self-confidence put me at ease. I knew I had found the right Doctor.
He performed 3 surgeries with perfection:
Anterior/ posterior Lumbar fusion L5-S1,
Anterior Cervical Fusion C5-6 and Carpal tunnel surgery on right hand.
He went above and beyond to help me with the scheduling of these surgeries. He made me feel that I really matter as his patient.
His staff is  excellent as well. I met his PA Maureen on my first appointment and She did a thorough examination on my body.  She is remarkable.
Lily was reliable and helpful with  referral authorizations and the scheduling of surgeries.
It has been an unforgettable experience.

I recently had level 2 fusion by Dr. Liker and 2 weeks post OP I am doing GREAT! Dr. Liker and his staff are amazing and I am very grateful he was my surgeon. I have friends that have had other surgeons and they did not have the success I have. Do your part, be a good patient but definitely go to the best, Dr. Liker! -km
