“This little museum is fantastic! Best to visit on Thursdays around 5pm. There's a pretty good farmers market on Thursdays, and the museum is open. It's literally on the Metro Gold Line "South Pasadena Station" stop. Go to the museum and find out why! Way too much to say in this comment.”

“My wife and I have been coming here for years and only recently we decided to hop on the Metro and bring our daughters (1.5 and 4.5 y.o.); this place is an amazing small spot and quite possibly the best South Pasadena sushi spot. The staff is really nice and there is just something about the chef that makes you like him. They have always been attentive and good with us. For those who complain about portions, this is definitely not “all you can eat” so don’t expect it because this far exceeds the quality of the AYCE spots by at least a mile. Try the Chuka Iidako and the Tako Wasabi to start and go with the Salmon Avocado Salad and go from there. Finish off with ice cream down the street 😬”

“I had a significant amount of dental work, done over a period of five weeks with Dr Chess Abelson, during which time, she rehabilitated some thirty odd years of poor dental hygiene habits. Thanks to her considerable skills, she was able to make my negligence, almost consequence free. I really like the lab she uses for cosmetic work, it is they I credit for still being able to enjoy a steak, or even a tougher, London broil. She is an animal lover, who rescues the not so pretty one's, from the pound. They wander the several acre compound, on a pink cloud, that anyone would take them, at all... A holistic, experience, all in all. I recommend her, highly.”

“Dr. Brenda Smith is the best doctor I have ever met. Her practice is called "Sincere Health Care for Women", and that is exactly what she and her sensitive, kind staff deliver - every time. I have been going to Dr. Smith for 18 years, and I drive 22 miles to see her annually. My mother also has been a patient of Dr. Smith for about 30 years - yet Dr Smith is still young! She must have graduated med school at 15... Anyhow, Dr. Smith has performed very successful surgeries for my mom over the years, for endometriosis, cysts, and finally a hysterectomy. Dr Smith is a conservative doctor, preferring to work preventatively - rather than jumping right into surgery or drugs as the quick-fix solution. Dr. Smith LISTENS. For a doctor's visit that most women dread - I don't. I arrive into their serene, spa-like atmosphere, I don't wait very long, and when I have had female problems over the years, Dr. Smith has helped me to solve them. I trust this office with my health, and when I leave, I feel good. I love Dr. Smith and her staff. This is how it Should be to visit your female doctor - for every woman.
