The worship time is always very well done both musically and asthetically as well as biblically. The pastor always has a very thought-provoking, challenging, expository sermon. “I have 3 kids. My eldest is in 4th grade and started Pico, since kinder. My middle child is in 2nd grade and my youngest is in kinder. I am so great full to be a part of this school. Everyone is so kind, starting from the staff, to the teachers, and the parents. Mrs. Banda, our former principal was the best principal you can ever hope for, I'm hoping this year will be as great as all the rest of the years were, with our new principal. If you are looking for a safe and educational school, you can find at Pico.”

“Trained here with my son for 2 years. I'm 47, took the adult class and got into the best shape of my life and we both learned valuable karate and boxing techniques. My son 12 when joined came in scared and timid. Two years later learned a lot and became very confident and saw a huge improvement. His grades went to almost all A'S from a C+ student. Why? Rising Sun Karate sensei's teach not only karate but also speak to them on respect and discipline. We left since we moved to Riverside. We will soon be taking karate where the UCR and UCI students attend since the martial arts are similar. I'm sure my son will see Rising Sun Karate again, hopefully in a tournament. Thank you Sensei Randy, Nick, and Michael. Highly recommend this dojo. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS.”
