  Elena Roche’s Gallery was a beautiful part of the whole bed and breakfast experience. Being an artist it was the best part for me. The artwork throughout both houses was wonderful. Not too much to overwhelm, but just enough to make for an enjoyable tour. The rich colours of the pieces added to the ambiance of the beautiful environment. The photos were also wonderful. We bought one, we loved so much. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. We will be going back.

  My passion is en Plein Air painting . But I was not very good at it. So after meeting Elena at a paint out, watching her demonstration, I knew she was the teacher for me. Not only is she a beautiful person but an incredibly passionate painter. I have grown so much in the last 8 months and I owe it all to her. She very patiently explains values and shows u how to lay down the correct color on the canvas. Her attention to detail is heavenly. She has become my value Guru and a good friend.

  I am so fortunate to have met Elena Roche at a local paint out about 8 months ago and began taking lessons from her. I have been studio painting for several years and just beginning to paint en plein air. Elena has helped me enormously in observing values outdoors and establishing the foundation of the painting before conditions change. She is an amazing artist and exceptional teacher.

  Elena, her family, and her art have become a light in my life. Learning to sew with easy guidance and consistent steps forward has been nothing less than restorative.
