Southwood Pharmacy

Easily the BEST pharmacy in the South Bay. My son has a rare disease and requires lots of meds. I moved back to America and was at my wits end within the first year with CVS- they were a nightmare. I discovered Southwood Pharmacy and our lives changed. The ease of accessing medication. The pharmacist has gone above and beyond to help advocate for my son's needs with insurance. One of the medications is an injection that must come from a Federal pharmacy due to high price of the product, she helped navigate the difficulty getting it delivered to our house even though there was no gain for her Pharmacy. She checks in on my son, she knows the whole family by name. When we had covid they delivered medication, vitamins and all of our needs and let me come in to pay for it once we were better. I truly couldn't imagine ever stepping foot in CVS pharmacy ever again and I'm so incredibly grateful for Southwood Pharmacy.

Such a great pharmacy with a “real” pharmacist from UCLA who gets to know you and your family and can make practical suggestions regarding prescriptions. I was especially shocked to find their prices less than CVS. In a pinch they have been kind enough to deliver prescriptions to my front door. Love them!

I had soooo many issues with big brand name pharmacies for years until I found Southwood. Feeling like I had to try and convince some unhappy judgmental pharmacist to fill a prescription I was prescribed from years and years of doctors visits to manage my debilitating pain, was literally the bane of my existence to the point of actual depression. The moment I got to Southwood I was greeted by not only the nicest most caring pharmacist I've ever met but one of the kindest people I've ever met period. I was treated with respect right off the bat and was actually able to have a real honest conversation with the pharmacist that made me feel she truly cared about helping people. Not only did the pharmacist help me fill my prescription but she called my insurance and helped me get the medication covered which is something I've been trying to do for years! This Pharmacy reminded me that there really are good people in the this industry and I'm so, so beyond grateful to have found them. Thanks guys :) !

This is what a pharmacy SHOULD be! Personalized care from a great pharmacist who is truly invested in your well being. They're not the closest pharmacy to our home, but we drive further because Uyen and her staff are so incredible! An absolute ally in your healthcare! We're so grateful for them!!

The pharmacist and techs are very professional and accommodating. Friendly, kind and understanding. They work with your doctor and insurance to alleviate the patients stress! 🙌🏼 I love the tranquil spa calmness when I walk in, aromatherapy and and meditation music meet you at the door. I will never go to another pharmacy. I drive 4o minute ONE way to get there. That's how much I love the pharmacists and the atmosphere of help and wellness. 🙌🏼❤️
