“On May 26, 2017 the Fire Station was called out to my mother's address in the city of Hawthorne due to my mother going into cardiac arrest. Unfortunately my mother's life could not be spared, and my life changed on that day. Although my mother Barbara was not able to stand the attack, I just have to say a HUGE THANK YOU, to this Fire Dept Unit. These individuals went far and beyond their call of duty. My daughter told me that the Fire official's worked on her for approximately 45 minutes and also transported her to a local hospital trying to restore life back in her. Although their attempts were not answered, In the deepest way of showing gratitude, I THANK them. To find out that people would put in the effort to save another person's life, as if that person was one of their own, I truly appreciate it. Yes it's apart of their job, but these men and women serve communities in unselfish ways. I know that after 6 to 10 minutes of her not having a pulse, they could have announced death. Instead, they continued to try to bring her back. I just want to say THANK YOU again for treating my love one with the up most respect ❤👍🏽”

“THANK YOU for stepping up and rescuing these babies when no one else would!! Numerous people have been calling animal control and the police for days to get these dogs out of this situation. Animal control already went out, couldn’t get in contact with the owner, and left them like that. I reported it yesterday and the responder told me animal control was already on their way from getting so many callers, but I’m not sure if they were going to ignore the situation again. I recited how they were violating the Los Angeles Municipal Code and California tethering laws, leaving these dogs in a severely neglected and endangering situation too. A Good Samaritan was keeping watch of the situation and feeding them, as their owner ignored them for 3 days. Others who passed by just threw things at them and ignored them. We need more people like you guys!!! ❤️”

I want to thank them for helping put in it down and going as fast as they could. My kids get really happy to see them. They thought of giving them cookies.
