Great management, communication, and an RV park that covers all basic needs! We have stayed for 3 months now and have had no problems here! Close to everything central California has to offer and near the Highway! Bathrooms and showers are clean, people are friendly. By the train tracks so expect to hear that occasionally. Might bother you if you are a light sleeper but it’s also something you get used to!
I have worked across the United States with my job and always stay in my RV while away from home working. I have stayed in a lot of RV parks along the way, not all of them were that great.
I have been here at Arena RV Park since February of 2022 and will be for another 6 to 8 months. I have to honestly say that it has been an absolute pleasure to stay here.
It is directly off of Hwy 99 in Chowchilla so it convenient for travels to pull into to for an overnight stay. With that said, for being close to Hwy 99 as it is you would think you would hear a lot of traffic noise. If you are outside you will hear some but in while in your RV you hear nothing. There is a train track near so you will hear the train but it only passes a couple of times a day so it's no big deal.
The shower house/bathrooms are clean and well kept as is the laundry room. The only draw back to the laundry room is no change machine so you will have to go elsewhere to get change before doing laundry.
The mangers are very friendly and helpful as well as everyone that I met here.
I would highly recommend this RV park if you will be working in the area, in the area for a few days or even if just travelling through.
I am a seasonal worker over the winter and this will be the fourth year. I have stayed here. It’s budget friendly, and I have had no problems with the staff or other folks. It’s quiet and I would recommend it especially if you were staying here long-term, or in town to work.
We arrived around 8:40pm without a reservation. The managing couple was accommodating and friendly. They welcomed us in the late hour. They helped us to our spot ensuring we were settled in for the night. It was a great experience and we loved the hospitality! The park is quaint and clean. The $42 per night price tag is just the cherry on top.
Thank you both! If ever we are in your area, we’ll see you again.
