Call me simple for loving puns, but it just makes this adorable and quaint and EXCELLENT nursery even more fun to visit.
I like this place! They have a good selection of plants, flowers, and trees to choose from and the staff is both knowledgable and courteous. Ask for the owner Matt. He's got a ton of knowledge on local soil conditions, deer problems, planting, watering, and feeding issues. Everything he's told me has worked well for me over the years.
I heard it's been around since 1954 and that it's the longest continuing business in Tiburon. That's cool to hear stuff like that.
By the way, if you do plan on going to there. It's a bit hard to find as the nursery is set back from the road, so keep an eye out for it. It's actually on Tiburon Boulevard on the right side of the road just before you hit downtown Tiburon. Parking is easy though as they have their own lot.
