“Azalea Hill Trail has easy access, is near Fairfax, and is not very hard to climb. The view of alpine lake is spectacular, and there are a lot of opportunities for rest since there are huge rocks nearly everywhere. The landscape was a tad dry in June, but just as fun regardless. Unlike other hot spots in the Mt Tamalpais Park, Azalea does not get crowded especially during the week. I hiked on a Wednesday, and I didn't see anybody else which was nice. Great place to hike or picnic.”
