(September 11, 2018, 5:44 pm)Starting from the Water District parking lot, the Shafter Bridge trail goes up to Bolinas Ridge Trail (uphill most of the way). After a 1/2 mile nearly flat hike, turn right to go up Shafter Grade trail. A 5.8-mile round-trip up and down with a 1,000-ft elevation gain.
