(March 4, 2019, 1:37 am)A pretty place to visit. This property is part of the State Park system, and we were surprised to stumble on it. A former resort hotel, this property was reached by a small gauge railroad. Hiking trails with interpretive signage cris-cross the steeply inclining property. Great views of the bay below. Plenty of parking.

(June 27, 2018, 7:17 pm)Beautiful park like surroundings make the Marconi Conference Center a delightful place to stay. We got lots of exercise walking up and down the hills. There are good trails on the campus and some lead to a great view overlooking Tomales Bay. The food at the restaurant was ample and satisfying but not gourmet.
(October 31, 2017, 3:09 pm)Famous and Friendly, but often overlooked. Used for paid parking for a large wedding nearby... it was a special deal/arrangement.
They have ONE ELECTRIC CAR PLUG-IN STATION, for free use with liability form signature!
Otherwise, 15-30min South, at the BEAR VALLEY VISITOR CENTER are several CAR PLUG-INS, open day and night, no gate.
(May 8, 2017, 6:51 pm)If they get real internet then I would give it five stars. Which is totally funny when you think of the history of the place. This is a good place to forget the world. Don't expect lots of amenities. You will love it if you dig nature.
