“Great idea just for one time short trip. Although, this place is special because you can see the seals really close while they are resting on the beach. And if you hike a bit up, really close from the parking (couple of meters) you will be able to observe beautiful view of the ocean and the cliffs. You can check the photos below. P.s. the restrooms are still wanted to be cleaner but at this stop they are probably the cleanest compare to the others in Point Reyes National Seashore. So small tip - go there! :) Enjoy your trip????”

“I hiked this trail to the Pacific. It's a little over 8 miles round trip, so we took our time and did it in a little over 3.5 hours. There's about 1000 feet of elevation gain and loss, and there's no water along the way so be prepared. Trail is narrow and often blocked by down trees, so this is not a good option for children or the mobility impaired. Highlights are deep Forrest and wildlife and not seeing anyone else until the beach.”

“The trails around here are generally amazing. I like the Muddy Hollow trail little more than this one however”

“Cool walking paths and fishing stops. There are a couple picnic benches for setting up the munchies and lots of greenery, but do be careful some of the beautiful green is poison oak. The waters mudded but still pretty.”

“Beautiful hike or bicycle ride to Coast Camp at the Point Reyes National Seashore. Park at the hostel for either the 2 mi hike or 3 mile bike ride. Although just a few sights have distant ocean views, the lovely sound of the waves on the shore can be heard from all campsites. Enclosed pit toilets, picnic table, small raised cooking grill, metal bear box, and accessible potable running water are all closeby. Bring steel wool to stuff in holes in food locker to keep mice out.”

“Great camping spot. We stayed in number 3. Number one is the only one that I would avoid. It's practically right on the trail.”

“Wonderful hike. Camp at Sky Camp, or go out and back. Has tent camping atop headlands, some sites with ocean views. Horse camp, hikers, bicyclists and group campsite. With more than one night, continue to Wildcat or Coast Camp for the next night or two, then hike out ti the trailhead at Palo-Marin. Or vise verse.”

“I was so relieved to find this place, literally. Nice plastic, soothing blue color. Urinal perfectly situated, I hit the target dead on! I blame Trump and the government shutdown for the lack of hand sanitizer, now it's really hitting us, the common folk, where it hurts.”

“It's so beautiful out here. There's picnic tables across from the visitor center. If you go on one of the various trails, get a map from the visitor center because the area is vast. You definitely need to stay in the trail and make sure you leave no garbage behind.”

“Some sites are definitely better than others. Thankfully we had a nice secluded spot. Only complaint that could be addressed is the lack of signage informing hikers to dispose of food properly , which led to bees at the water faucet.”
