“Nearing the end of my freshman year, I have been satisfied and felt that I have been taught a lot. I love the idea of small learning communities; strengthening the science, english, and history knowledge by connecting these classes to each other plus a distinguishing feature for each community. I joined DaVinci in its first year; it is a great experience. The teachers focus their teaching with an emphasis on "learning to build, building to learn". Drake High School has a phenomenal environment where everyone is kind, friendly, and accepting of differences. The staff and teachers work hard to make students happy, teach them well, and prepare them for college and beyond. I highly recommend Drake High School to every single student out there looking for a great 4 years of high school! There are many school lunch clubs, and events such as dances as well that allow everyone to be involved in the community and make lasting friendships!”
