I have had the privilege of experiencing the OH so amazing Bettina Devin in my life as an invaluable acting/audition coach, fiercely loyal mentor, and treasured friend for over ten years. In that time, I have also witnessed the indelible impact Bettina has had on the lives and careers of countless actors and singers, young and old, in a way I have never before witnessed.

With fierce professionalism and talent combined with spot-on intuition and a golden heart, Bettina is THE go-to coach for everything and anything on the performing spectrum, from audition to performance, and everything in between. If you are looking for someone to whip you into shape and elicit the performance of a lifetime, run to her. Come opening night or first day on set, you (and your audience!) will be OH so happy and grateful you did!

Bettina is a wealth of ideas and talent. Her expertise as a vocal coach and singing teacher spans all types of music styles. What I love best about working with Bettina is that she can offer multiple ways to “trick” the brain to arrive at the desired sound. She is personable and creates a safe place to sing and try out new techniques. She is a serious acting coach, as well, and delves into the very soul of a character or emotion. This has been especially helpful when combining singing and adding emotion to a song. She is an excellent and devoted teacher who readily shares her experiences, talents, and knowledge. She is absolutely amazing!

Bettina is a one of a kind coach. She has the ability to hone you strengths and nurture you in a way to correct your weaknesses! Bettina is not only knowledgeable and caring but totally honest and will give you her best if you give her your best. If I had Bettina for a manager for either my music and acting years ago, I would be farther along in my craft and famous by now!

Bettina Devin is one of the most generous, intuitive and knowledgeable acting coaches I have ever met. She truly wants the best for her students. In addition, she is kind and patient and has a host of contacts to help propel people forward. If you're willing to do the work- she will help to bring out your gifts and then guide you to your right path. You will not find another teacher who gives as much of herself as Bettina. She has always encouraged my talents and has even come to my shows- now that is unusual for such a well known and busy teacher! I've attended her workshops with casting directors and received inside information that I would not have found elsewhere. I cannot say enough about her as a coach and a human being. Above the rest.

I have firsthand experience with the range of capabilities and talents that Bettina brings to the table for each of the individuals with whom she works. Under Bettina’s careful tutelage, Mario has found his natural stride as a performer. He has grown by leaps and bounds, refining his innate strengths in performance while also stepping out of his comfort zone to match her suggestions about how to best nurture his development and maturity. The polished performer he is today bares little resemblance to the performer he was before Bettina took him under her wing. At 16 years old, he has already achieved a resume that crosses a variety of platforms, including television, feature films, commercials and stage credits.
It is not an exaggeration to say that Bettina has been with us every step of the way, through every challenge and triumph that are common in this line of work. She has supported our family both physically and emotionally, celebrating each of Mario’s victories right in step with me. In many ways, she serves as one of his biggest supporters and cheerleaders, whether it involves offering last-minute coaching before an audition or buying tickets to be in the center row at his performances on stage. Through out this emotional journey of helping Mario come into his own as a working actor in high demand, she is someone whose instincts I have come to trust as having my son’s best interest in mind, especially when it comes to his career.
While every pupil hopes to be regarded as special to the teacher making a difference in their lives. I have come to understand that Bettina truly shows that same level of investment in each and every one of her students, whether they are impressionable children as Mario was when we began, or grown adults finally pursuing their own dreams. Bettina makes the impossible seem accessible and has a keen understanding of how to engage with each of her students individually to help them achieve their goals. That kind of intuition simply cannot be taught, but rather is only possible when the coach is motivated by the joy of helping facilitate her students success beyond what they thought ever imagined to be possible on their own.
