What a beautiful place! We had the pleasure of visiting this place and doing the 5 mile hike. Tue view is stunning and it seems like a fun place to bike. We took the ferry from Tiburon. Round trip was $15.00. I would highly recommend this park.
Such a great educational experience. Thank you for keeping the history alive.
My favorite place on Angel Island. The poignant messages from the detained immigrants from a 100 years ago demonstrate that we may not have made much progress. Take a guided tour to learn the nitty gritty, or a self-guided one if you want more time for photos. Don't use your flash as it wipes out the shadows that make the poetry visible.

While in operation, the station comprised some 45 purpose-built structures, including a hospital, a laboratory, barracks, a laundry, and a two-story bathhouse.
