Great place to hike camp or just got for a walk hang out for a bit beautiful place
This is a great place for camping. area needs to be reserved ahead of time $150 for area with restrooms water and electrical outlets available.
there's also a one day camping permit for $20 a day.
there's wild animals close by the only bad thing i can say is that are is too close to a very traffic area.
it does rain often 🌧️ bring warm clothes.
theres no playgrounds for kids.
It's quiet and peaceful. But needs to be cleaned up more after the floods. It's got some nice big oak trees. Bathroom are clean picnic tables need some attention as well as the grass and weeds.
This park is at the junction of the Merced and the San Joaquin rivers. People fish and children swim in them. The large open space camping area works great for extended family gatherings. Big, old oak canopy shades much of the grassy area. Mosquitoes.
