We had an exceptional experience at Mid City Nursery, thanks to John's outstanding assistance. He not only showed great knowledge but also went above and beyond to help us find alternatives when the specific plants we were looking for weren't in stock. John's suggestion of ordering them for us or waiting for a restock in a specific month demonstrated his dedication to customer satisfaction.

Notably, we were seeking specific plants with thorns for window deterrence, and John promptly recommended alternative options that were in stock, leading us to purchase four plants. To ensure the safe transport of our new green additions, John even provided a free potting soil bag to keep the plants from rolling around in my truck, showcasing his attention to detail and customer care. Despite our attempt to tip, he graciously declined.

The overall atmosphere at Mid City Nursery is fantastic, boasting a diverse selection of plants and a staff that genuinely cares. With such a positive experience, we'll undoubtedly be returning customers. Shopping here was an absolute pleasure, and John's exceptional customer service is a rare gem that sets this nursery apart.

There are so many trees and plants to choose from. They even have all kinds of grasses. Very reasonable prices, and the staff is great. Weekends are packed, so if you can go during the week, you should.

My first visit today from Vallejo...WOW such a beautiful nursery. Take a stroll. It will take you a while to see all the beautiful plants, trees, and things they have. Friendly and helpful staff. I love the Sunshine sign I found, just perfect for my home. I look forward to my next visit. 🌻

Just walking around the beautifully put together layout of Mid City Nursery reflects their high quality store and business. if you walk all the way to the back of the store you would think you are in a nature garden or state park. Have Been to a lot of garden nurseries but mid city is among the best I’ve seen so far. They really take time in ordering from the best plant distributors and do an amazing job at caring for all of their inventory from little $5 plants on up to some of the really expensive trees and shrubs. You always get return/exchange if there are problems bet I’ve yet to have one. The customer service is really top notch and I’ve literally had staff take the time to give amazing gardening tips over the phone I almost felt I needed to pay for. Their team is the best at what they do. I’ve also found some rare indoor plants in their indoor greenhouse that I’ve never seen at Lowe’s or Home Depot. The owner and team her should feel really proud of such an amazing landmark they have made I hope it stays in business many many decades to come.

John and his staff have been here for decades and are always helping out. They are by far the best nursery I've been to. everytime I get plants or garden items this is the place, they guarentee there plants life.
