The service is fantastic - we chose a vintage bottle from a wine maker we love and the Sommelier really helped pair the right food with our wine for an amazing experience. Our waiter was fun and attentive - that great balance between being accessible and giving us space to enjoy ourselves. Honestly have had much better steaks being a Texan, but one of the sides we chose literally almost made me cry. The food and wine together, and the atmosphere and service, made the entire experience unmissable.”

Great history behind the family who started this relatively new winery and so glad they have kept some of the historic buildings on site. “This was our first time at a B & B, and the bar has been set very high. John and Lisa are great hosts and their inn is beautiful. Social hour is a great time to get to know all the other guests. We met some great people, and had very delicious breakfasts. Home-made and served on the back patio; the perfect place. John and Lisa truly care about their guests, and help to make your stay above and beyond what you expect. The room was cozy and comfortable. It felt like home. Can't wait to return.”

“The hiking from the Moore Creek parking area is varied and has something for everyone. The parking are has room for 30+ cars and we have never had an issue parking. Moore Creek is adjacent to the trails from the start. The initial hike is a hike up hill, and then you have a choice to either continue on or loop back via Valentine Vista trail which offers more climbing on single track. If you go straight, you can continue until you reach some swimming pools at which point you can now connect through to Los Posados State Forest, allowing for a significant hike if you are so inclined. None of the hiking is easy, I would say moderate for most of it. None is super steep, it's more just lots of rolling up and down.”
