Regardless of the season or location, in my humble opinion, there are few things in life that can compare to the natural beauty that lake Tahoe offers.
Beautiful. Some biking challenges but worth it. Nice fishing accesses. Can't wait to try! A few spots require pushing the bike up hill but that's exercise too. Having Chop 40 near my entry point helps for quick rehydration.
One of the coolest paths through the Sierra Nevada!! It runs along the Truckee River and is so beautiful in Farad. There is even a hot spring!!
Lovely trail, very easy hiking. Proximity to I80 can make for too much car noise, but you get used to it quickly. Wonderful views of the river.
