The people are genuine, real authentic followers of Christ who always make me feel right at home. You can literally feel the love of God through their smiles and the enthusiasm they have for worship and the verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible.

Preaches from the BIBLE!! A place full of imperfect people seeking Jesus together and gathering to worship and serve. Highly recommend to anyone interested in who Jesus is and anyone who already has a relationship with Him. I attached a picture of the senior pastor in case you want to meet him Sunday morning :)

My wife and I moved to Truckee three years ago and from the very first time we visited Sierra Bible Church we felt warmly welcomed and loved the Bible centered teaching.

We connected to a community group and found fellowship and soon lifelong friendships with people we now love dealerly and would likely have never met otherwise. This community has also become a powerful support systems for us as we have gone through some various trials and we felt loved on, prayed for and physically provided for through them and we are glad to be a part of this community where we can do the same when our friends go through trials. SBC is a community of believers from all walks of life that are genuine, loving and accepting looking to not only better the church, but really be active in the community of Truckee and the greater North Tahoe region.

Now that we have kids we also appreciate the great children’s and youth programs and all of the activities SBC puts on for the community throughout the year. We also greatly appreciate all the young families in the church that are in a similar stage of life as us, a great support system for each other.

I love this place. Great bible teaching with a focus on the bible and the gospel. Lots of fun families and a great youth group!
