(August 29, 2022, 12:34 am)My husband and I visited the lodge for our anniversary dinner.
Michael was an amazing waiter, assuring all of our needs were met. The food was the best we ate during our visit to Truckee. I ordered the pasta, savoring every perfect bite. My husband ordered the pork chop and said it was one of the best he's ever eaten. The only suggestions I have would be to add nuts to their charcuterie plates and refine the oatmeal topping on their strawberry/rhubarb crumble so it was an actual crumble and not just oatmeal. Other than those two things, a wonderful experience!
(August 24, 2022, 9:38 pm)I have been there 3 times this past month and consistently consistently the food is always off always off the charts delicious and always of the finest fresh ingredients! No farmed fish!! Super great staff always very dynamic and this place is beginning to feel like family! Thank you!
(March 18, 2022, 10:08 pm)We asked for our food to go. The short rib was a fantastic. I would have given five stars if it wasn't for the to go Caesar salad pictured here. I think it was around $14.
(October 13, 2021, 2:59 pm)Wonderful dinner as the sun set. We were seated right away and served well the entire meal. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant to interact with. He gave suggestions for cocktails and entrees, and neither disappointed.The salmon and pasta entrees were scrumptious! It was a great way to end our day of fun in Truckee.
