Select Physical Therapy - Truckee

Truly impressed with my treatment plan with Select PT at “the rock”. Lauren has worked with me through the summer and fall to address strength and balance issues that were impacting my right knee which originally prevented me from enjoying skiing at the end of 22-2023 season. I’m pleased to say my first few days out this winter 23-2024 have been awesome with no pain!

Excellent PT experience with Emily B. She is very professional and has an engaging personality. She did a thorough examination and customized my PT plan very carefully to maximize recovery of my knee function (torn ACL/no surgery) in a pretty short amount of time (about 2 months, just before ski season). She gave me lots of new exercises I had never done before, and kept the sessions demanding but fun. She cares a lot about her patient's progress, and you never get bored in her sessions. I highly recommend Select PT on Brockway Rd, Truckee. Head and shoulders above other places I visited for my PT needs.

I just started PT with the team at select and I’m already impressed. They have been very attentive to where I’m at in the recovery process and have been able to get me into a routine that is immediately showing improvements in strength and range of motion after just 1 week.

Lauren quickly figured out what would work for my injury and came up with a plan that was unique to building strength and preventing future injuries. The wonderful thing about this clinic is that I was exclusively treated by Lauren for each of my appointments, so that she could instruct me on my care plan. Being treated by one physical therapist rather than diagnosis for one and exercise instruction with an aid sets this clinic apart from past experience with PT clinics!

Emily is amazing. I have osteoarthritis in my fingers and have lost a lot of movement. Therapy with Emily has restored some movement and she has given me exercises that help strengthen my fingers, hands, and forearms.
I highly recommend this clinic for any and all physical therapy needs. The staff is the best!
