My husband and I attended Andrea's 2 day Gentle Birth Workshop and had such a great experience. I felt so empowered and energized after leaving this two day workshop! I had already taking the hospital birthing class and done a lot of independent reading but what my husband and I learned in this two day class helped us  really feel like we had the right tools together to be prepared. We kept coming back to topics we discussed and moments that resonated us from the two day workshop for days afterward. Andrea does a great job curating a fun and lighthearted vibe and helps to remove any fear or anxiety you might be feeling thinking about labor and birth. Highlight recommend!

My husband and I loved having Andrea as a part of our birth experience. We had a hospital birth and while we felt like we were in great hands with the doctors and nurses we were so grateful to have Andrea as our doula to help us through the process. Her skills were especially appreciated by my husband whom she helped coach in his support role during the most intense periods of labor. We felt so supported and taken care of throughout the experience without feeling overwhelmed and it was so special. We can’t recommend her enough!

Every expecting family should participate in Andrea & Marissa’s Birth Class Retreat. Not only is it informative, but it also gifts expecting people and their partners time disconnected from the distractions of every day life to really focus on each other, meditate, enjoy nature, and eat delicious food. You will get all of this and the kindness of the ultimate caregivers from the wonderful doulas who run the retreat, Andrea and Marissa.

Hiring a doula is essential for your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum journey! Andrea is experienced, personable, kind and funny. We were so happy we had her along for the ride. She made us feel prepared to accept the messiness of labor and delivery. Andrea works at Tahoe Forest Hospital often and is well respected by the nurses and doctors and so knowledgable
about the facility. It was so wonderful to have Andrea's support, our birth veered far from our "birth preferences" but we still felt educated and informed at every twist and turn. Andrea was gentle yet assertive, and was always thinking two steps ahead of your needs. It was a pleasure having Andrea with us.

Andrea was incredibly vital during both the days leading up to labor and the actual labor and delivery process. As every pregnancy and birth is unique, they bring with them a series of challenges and questions. Andrea calmed my nerves, supported my every wish, worked as a team with my husband and the nurses, clamped down on every muscle seize during contractions, and provided comic relief when we so needed a distraction. While labor is not a peaceful process, I felt at ease and calm throughout it all because of the support she provided.
She is a healer in the best possible way. She is supportive without being pushy or overbearing, knowledgeable about the entire process and all the unknowns, intuitive to you and your partner's needs, and an overall incredible person. I would highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a Doula!!
