Truckee Hostel

Fun stop for icecream in truckee! Didn't get to stay last time, but would in the future.

Super chill vibe. Clean well kept establishment. I will return

Amazing quirky atmosphere. Good times.

Wonderful hostel. Cool, easy lighting. Red, textured velvet walls. Proprietors are cool as hell. They occasionally do amazing things like burlesque shows (first time I visited I came for one). Excellent beer selection and surprisingly delicious drinks despite not doing hard alcohol, only beer, wine and things like Sony. There's a nice space in the back with a kitchen and lounge area if you want to get away from the bar and front reception area's more exposed intensity.

Also, there's something like 30 hats for you try if you're in the front. Victorian prints decorate the walls and the whole feel is stylishly Victorian. Come visit for a drink or if you have a chance to stay anywhere in the area and you're interesting or want to be you should stay here. They do take reservations via Air BNB. It's located in a really nice, happening spot in downtown Truckee on top of it all.

We had a fantastic room in the heart of Truckee. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
