(October 7, 2022, 4:24 pm)Our young cat Oreo had FHR in March 2022. AOC was very thorough in the explanation of the procedure. The surgery was quick & their follow through throughout the healing process was great. It's not a cheap surgery but I would definitely recommend their services.
(September 19, 2022, 6:55 pm)Our puppy was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia at almost a year old. We are so thankful we found Dr. Vogel and Animal Orthopedic Center! He and his staff have been amazingly attentive every step of the way during our pup's journey. From diagnosis, to hip replacement surgery, to post op care, Dr. Vogel and his staff have given us detailed information, guidelines, what to expect and answered our many questions. The doctor and everyone that works there have been friendly, kind, compassionate, and caring. The office is well run and extremely clean.
(September 19, 2022, 5:40 pm)My pup at young age had dysphasia in both front elbow joints. She was only 3 years old. I searched for an orthopedic doctor for my pup and found Dr Vogel. He walked me through the whole surgery process and was very patient with me and answered all my questions & concerns. Dr Vogel also harvested stem cell prior to surgery and when it came back purified he preformed the surgery. When I picked my pup up she was on house rest for about 3 or 4 weeks. He mentioned my pup might need second stem cell injections in about a year. He did such a great job she went about 5 years before she got her 2nd injections. I was so worried about my pup Nui Nui’s & my future together but it’s been 6 years and she is so active. I owe Dr Vogel a big thank you. He’s the best and I recommend him to all my dog parents for there pups. I referred one guy to take his pup to DR Vogel and he did and now his pup back to dog park like he never had an injury. If you really love your pup and it need s any ortho work done I highly recommend Dr Vogel 🐕
(August 18, 2022, 2:51 pm)Dr. Vogel and his team are wonderful! My then 8 week old pup broke her leg at night, and none of my local ERs were open to "non-emergencies". I was referred to Dr. Vogel and got in the next morning: surgery was done same day and we went home... a few weekly visits to make sure all was good, and she is perfect.
Everyone on staff is kind and caring and goes over and above to ease worries: I appreciated the follow up calls to check on progress.
As I say often, I hope I don't need them, but am grateful to know they exist when I do!
(July 12, 2022, 2:37 pm)Our five month of old Doberman pincher puppy was limping and we took him to see his regular veterinarian. Within 3min of being seen by his regular veterinarian, we were told that our puppy definitely had a CCL tear and would need surgery.
They wanted to take him back immediately and sedate him for X-rays and a CCL test. They also were saying he might need surgery that same day. It was all within a couple of minutes and overwhelming to say the least.
We decided to get a second opinion from an Orthopedic specialist. We brought our puppy to Dr. Vogel and him and his team took X-rays, sat down with us and explained that our puppy did not have a CCL tear and showed us all of the X-rays as well as recommended an anti-inflammatory medication. Our puppy ended up having nothing wrong.
Overall, you can tell Dr. Vogel cares about his patients and the puppies he sees. He took the time to sit down with us and go over everything as well as give us recommendations. It's great working with this veterinarian that truly cares! Definitely recommend this specialist animal Orthopedic center.
