Great park for concerts --- perfect stage!
Great views from everywhere!
Just pick a good concert!
I went to see a 50-60's band, and lo and behold --- I have never seen that many septuagenarians in my life!
And a third of them were on the dance floor!
It was like they were filming Cocoon 2!
And I think I saw Hume Cronin and Jessica Tandy, by gosh!

This park is fantastic. The playground area itself was pretty darn clean, and it had two separate playgrounds with lots of options for different age groups and abilities. My toddler twins had the most fun playing on the bouncy cars. We will come back and play often!
Home to a rose garden and grassy lawns, this gorgeous park enthralls visitors with its beautiful mix of Spanish Colonial and Art Deco styles. Established in 1928, the urban oasis is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
From its 25-meter pool and playgrounds to historic buildings, the park teems with sights and diversions to please all visitors.
First events during the summer. The plunge, make sure the little ones have a vest style floaties because the arm ones arent allowed. Fun events like 4th of July and concerts in the park.
