Black Bear Diner Fullerton

We have fined at the Black Bear restaurant several times over the past three years & found the food quite good. In the past, the service was adequate but a bit slow. However, this time the lady that served us was excellent and seemed to enjoy her work.

Always delicious. Great service, large portions- its like you are vacation even of you are just out to brunch! Get a side of gravy for the biscuit and live it up!

Absolutely Love this place! We went in before the dinner crowd arrived so we were seated immediately. The entire staff was friendly and our server was great. As expected, the food was delicious and the portions were so big that we took enough home for a 2nd meal. There are plenty of things to choose from on the menu, including a very good veggie burger. When you want an amazing meal of good old fashioned comfort food, this is definitely the place to come.

Had my birthday dinner here and the food was superb! Hot, tasty and filling! And I'm a 6'1" 265 lbs man! First time I had a New York steak in my life! And they seasoned it great. My dining companion had a salad that was gigantic! I ate the remainder for lunch the next day. Our waitress wasn't as attentive. But her black female co-worker was always clearing out table and providing refills. The next time I go, I'm asking for her, even though I don't know her name! No one wears name tags anymore! Fix that!
