PJW has been a great experience for my 2 1/2 year old son. He has a speech delay and he has improved within the last 8 months he has been working with Pamela. She is great and works well with scheduling and accommodations. He just adores her as well. My son just had ear tubes placed to help his hearing so I can not wait to see how much more he improves doing speech therapy with Mrs P!
Outstanding! We are so glad we switched over to PJW because they offer in-home services.
Pamela is very knowledgeable when it comes to speech and the spectrum. She takes time with me, as the parent, to explain her approach, addresses my concerns, and is communicative on progress. She is intuitive to how my daughter responds and tailors her approach to encourage all speech and language development.
Pamela is consistent with her tone and general routine. She always has several toys and activities in her Mary Poppins bag that keep my daughter engaged. Since sessions began, I’ve seen tremendous growth in my daughter’s confidence to speak and acceptance of corrections.
I highly recommend Pamela. She’s knowledgeable, great to work with, and above all cares for her patients.
Ms Pamela has been a blessing for our nonverbal autistic son. Being a 7 year old boy and on the high energy side, he can get really wiggly and elope. Pamela keeps him focused and engaged while giving him small breaks when he needs it. She will tailor her sessions to fit his needs (which is always changing). She uses a variety of hands-on activities and every session is new and exciting.
Her knowledge in speech and other related areas are extensive. She notices our son’s learning style and immediately uses it to his advantage. Every question I had she has always answered very thoroughly and even talked how we can apply it.
Not only is her relationship with our son amazing, but also with the parents. It is a true collaborative relationship and always takes our thoughts into consideration.
She is fun but can be firm when needed. She is caring, patient, and has a positive attitude. Our family loves her!
Pam has been working with my 4 year old son for about a year now, I would recommend her to any and everyone. I have heard amazing improvements in my son's speech. My son loves working with Pam and she is excellent when it comes to accommodating my schedule as well.
Pamela has been a wonderful speech therapist for my 2 year old son. She was able to do a thorough intial evaluation in both English and Korean, and during each speech therapy session she would give me updates on how he is progressing and things that I can implement at home with him myself. Pamela was able to come to our home and have my son's speech therapy sessions where he is comfortable, and could engage him in his therapy session through play. My son enjoyed each visit and looked forward to when she would come each week, and did progress in his speech development.
