Last week, I had to replace my daughter's glasses. This is something her father (who also wears glasses) does, but sense he was out of town, the task was left up to me. As a non-glasses wearer, I had no idea where to start. I visited several shops trying to get a quote/the best deal available. In all of my adventures, I ended up at ABC&E in Douglasville, with my 6 and 9 year old daughters. I mention their ages because you can imagine what it was like with siblings at that age. BUT sales associate, DESTINY was THE ABOSLUTE BEST!!! She was patient with my 6 yo. who insisted on trying on EVERY pair of glasses. And when we finally found a pair, it turns out that they were priced wrong and we had to start from scratch. Just when I thought I was going to have to wait another lifetime for my 6yo to find another "perfect" pair, DESTINY took the wheel! Found not one, but two pairs of glasses that were affordable AND were flexible and agile, perfect for my tiny gymnast/wrestler!
Did I mention, we walked into this store 24 minutes to closing! In any other store, associates would be hesitate to help us, if not just simply telling us to come back tomorrow (we literally had one store tell us, our website says open until 8p, but we're about to close early!!)
Anywhoo, Destiny made our trip painless and efficient. Plan to go back to this location for all our future needs!
(February 16, 2022, 8:10 pm)This was my first time visiting an Americans beat, so I had a lot of questions. I haven’t had new glasses in 8yrs and it’s definitely time since my glasses are falling apart. The receptionist was a very nice young lady I apologize I don’t remember her name but she answered all my questions about pricing and the whole process. She definitely sold me with her kindness and knowledge. I made an appointment and I can’t wait to come in to get my new glasses.
