Love this hidden gem! A huge area to walk your dogs and take a stroll.
Calm and peaceful Park. Did the walk along the trails, pretty much very easy trails and safe environment. Met lots of people who walked and just hangouts enjoying the peaceful place. There are also the library building in this area. Also checked the secret garden but not much flowers since this is Fall season, there is a little “swamp” or lake behind of the garden with green water on it, and some dry trees (Autumn) it gave me Halloween vibes :)
Cherry Blossom Festival ~ Huntington Beach Central Park
Great booths for shopping and lots of food choices with Japanese flare and some without. Great entertainment as you dine, shop, and play. Dogs are welcomed, and parking seems busy, but you can easily pay $1 for the day in the Sports Park Parking lot.
Oh, there is only one Cherry Blossom tree in the whole park!
This park is great for walking around, the walking paths are well maintained and it takes about 30 mins to do a full loop of the trail.
There are a number of wildlife that you will encounter along the way and a great place to walk your dogs! The park is extremely well maintained and there are public restrooms and a children’s playground in one corner of the park.
This is a popular place, but with that being said it is never too busy and there is ample room across the park. A great place to have a picnic or just to get your daily steps in.
This is a great place to go for a walk or run. I like to take a stroll and take pictures of the different ducks, plants, and birds. It's located right next to the library, which is excellent as well! The ducks and squirrels will come right up to you because they are used to folks feeding them (please don't feed the wildlife). This park is truly a gem.
