The pier was nice. It was a little cold on the first week of January with the wind. But just long sleeve shirt kind of cold. The little shows are fun. Ruby's at the end of the pier was nice. People fishing. Kites flying, surfers surfing. Lots to see. The sun set was stunning.

Not a whole lot to do on this pier compared to the pier in Santa Monica. There is a restaurant serving up tasty food, a couple of fun small stores and nasty bathrooms. You can watch people you don't know fish. Yawn. It's still fun to stroll down the pier and soak up the rays while enjoying great views of the ocean and beach. Lots of photo opps. Glad it's free. ????????????

Great place to spend all day, all weekend or your last hours in the area!

Beautiful place to fish off or simply watch the surfers.
