Highly recommend for physical therapy. Phil is great and helped me with multiple injuries. He takes his time to understand your issues, build a plan to help, and constantly updates the plan as my injuries improved. He gave me a great specialist recommendation which helped me fix an issue I have been having for years. While I hope to not get hurt and go back, if I ever have an injury Phil will be my first stop!

I had a great experience with Apex! This was my first time seeing a physical therapist and Phil was very knowledgeable, who explained how the exercises will help me recover quicker. He took his time answering any questions I had. It was also really flexible to make and adjust appointments.

At first I did PT with Phil which was a gym like setting where I went in and did a list of mostly the same exercises, depending on the day I would change it up and add on to the list. I think this option is great if you enjoy doing exercises on your own time and pace.

Later on I switched to doing Pilates one on one with Katie and I preferred that environment more. She made sure my form was correct and tries to come up with different variations so the exercises weren’t repetitive all the time. This option is great for those who want exercises easier on their joints and someone attentive.

If you’re looking for a great physical therapist, look no further. After my knee surgery, I began researching local physical therapy facilities which were recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. I eventually decided upon Apex since they had fantastic online reviews.

I’m pleased to say that Phil, with his extensive experience, professionalism, and physical therapy methods, exceeded all my expectations. He delivered on results and all I had to do was bring my desire and discipline to not only give my full effort in each session, but to also continue with my exercises at home. Phil gives you the flexibility to go through each learned exercise at the pace that you’re comfortable with, but he also knows when to turn things up a notch when you need that extra push to reach your physical condition goal. I’m pleased to share that I’m now confident enough in the strength of my knee to take on some of the physical activities that I enjoyed prior to my injury.

Thanks, Phil. I’ll definitely recommend Apex to anyone in my personal or professional network that may be in need of your service!

I do not write many reviews but this one needed to be told because it is helping me get back to my passion of Pickleball. Plus, this is a special place.

Being new to OC Apex Physical Therapy came highly recommended from my orthopedic doc. It was one of the best recommendations, I have received while having a positive impact on my physical and mental health.

It is all about Phil and his wife, who are completely focused and engaged on healing their patients. Phil is passionate about his craft. Educated at UCLA, he will read the MRI and reports in detail. He then tailors the PT plan while explaining the injury and healing process.

In 4 weeks I have watched people come in with a variety of injures experiencing different pain levels. I watch the level of care and thought he puts into each patient whether it be a severe or mild injury.

Phil is a great listener, always asking questions, and truly wants to know how you are feeling. When I have followed his plan, I improved each session. Plus he has magic hands. He could always find the point of pain or injury with out saying a word. There is no doubt he is a healer but you have to be willing to put in the work. After 4 weeks he has me on an exercise and strength circuit that I enjoy. Always introducing new exercises into the regime to keep progressing while staying fresh.

Apex has great equipment and a variety of toys. But for me, I like the old school basics that he has reinforced with me. I always walk away feeling energized from my time at Apex and appreciate the care they have provided me.

I will absolutely, and enthusiastically, recommend Apex Physical Therapy, and Phil, to anyone who needs it. Phil works closely with you to ensure that you are healing and working in the right direction so that you can get back to healthy as soon as possible. My time at Apex was very positive and I saw much progress in my physical ability while being treated here.
