“Wonderful caring teacher! I really liked the way John systematically and thoughtfully taught my daughter Megan. He made her feel safe and secure, which was exactly what she was needing. He also enabled her to grow in independence in her cello practice as he would write down homework expectations and notes for her each week. He also had a way of making hard things on the cello seem not so hard. You could tell he understood that learning is a process, and he discerningly and patiently helped nurture Megan’s cello skills each week. Megan and I both loved the duets with John and his cello, Buttercup. (Princess, the cat, was a great audience too.) It is also so rare to find a teacher that schedules group classes once a month to give the students opportunities to perform and learn from each other. It’s an extra effort that very few teachers do, but is truly good for students’ musical development and stimulation. John really cares about his students growth and development. We’re so glad we were able to take classes with him these past 4 months. Thank you, John. We will miss you!!!”

“My daughter has been at great foundation Montessori in Woodbury since she was 18 months old till 4 now. Soon she will enter kindergarten and I am sad because it means she will be leaving this establishment once she is done with kindergarten. All staff ( teachers, TA, admin staff, even director) know each child by name. It's like an extended family. School is very well equipped, play ground is nice and big, and every inch of the facility is extremely clean. Kids get individualized attention. They focus on practical life. Science and academics. My daughter loves going to school every day ;) Although all teachers do a phenomenal job with the kids, one teacher, miss Jessy should be followed by example. Her dedication and passion for teaching truly shows, and will miss her very much. I would recommend this facility to any parent who wants to make sure their child will honestly be taken care of. Personally, my standards are high, but the staff at this campus deserves five stars. We love you guys!!!”

“We found Emilia whilst we were still living back home in the UK. It was very important to me that our daughter, if moving countries, was able to continue her violin practice and learning. From the very first moment I got in touch with Emilia, set up my daughter's first lesson, I have been so impressed with her professional manner and dedication to her teaching. We have been attending Emilia's classes since Oct 2015 and my daughter loves them, she has improved and matured in her playing over this time and it is with no doubt that it is all down to Emilia's teaching. Emilia is patient and caring and gives my daughter achievable goals in her learning. We would highly recommend Emilia for private violin lessons, my daughter is currently about to take her first ABRSM exam and is planning on auditioning for the Honors Concert within IUSD later this year. Emilia has given my daughter the confidence to pursue these achievements.”

“I have 3 kids and they have been going to this school for 3 years now. We love it! The teachers are are all so kind and eduacted and really care for each and every student individually. I assisted in my son's classrooms yesterday and Mrs. Pearson is simply amazing! Out of all of the teachers my kids have had throughout the years Mrs. Pearson is our favorite! The only challenge with the school is the parking for pick up and drop off. It is very crowded and difficult. But other than that it's GREAT!”

“I have so many great things to say about this particular CDC but I will keep it simple. Although Canyon View CDC is the only center we have been to, we absolutely LOVE it for our first grader and couldn’t be happier with this center. Every teacher they have is absolutely amazing with the children and a pleasure to interact with during pick-up time. The Centers Director (Mr. Adrian) is a perfect fit for this Center and seems to do a very good job with staffing and activities. Our Son loves going here for after school care and that is what truly matters. Knowing that my Son is happy to be there and the teachers are happy to have him really makes having to put my Son in day care easy. I am writing this review because I have friends complaining about other Irvine CDC centers and I felt that Canyon View CDC needed a review so people can see that not all CDC centers are bad. Hopefully someone from CDC can see this review and start having other CDC centers start learning from Canyon View CDC on how to run a Day Care. Canyon view CDC is truly the example of how to do it right. Thanks Canyon View CDC!”

“My son has been at Fresh Start for a year now, and it has been such a positive experience! Kevin has been a wonderful and caring teacher and as a result, my son has grown a lot as a musician. The studio is very well-organized and really encourages excellence, but in a fun and approachable manner. One example: before recitals, the school has a studio class where all the students can practice their piece in front of an audience of fellow students...and this is followed by a pizza party! I picked FreshStart after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp. I found that the studio exceeded my expectations! The teachers are always open to trying different techniques and practice methods to help the students improve.”
