Beautiful place to hiking
Very beautiful trail!
The beautiful view of Laguna Beach to the north, Dana Point to the south, and Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean Ocean the west is well worth the short but deceptively strenuous hike. Be sure to bring water. The bench at the summit is dedicated to Orange County's first Park Ranger, Daniel Hanson.
Small but intense hike with steep elevation gains. You are rewarded with beautiful land meets ocean view at the end of the hike with ocean views all along the hike. You could start at either the park uphill or 1000 steps beach downhill which is more strenuous workout. Overall one of Laguna's most scenic hikes
