Out of all the places we stayed on our trip to California this was bay far the best. Nice smelling lobby with a chess board and free wine from 5-6pm. The rooms were clean and bright and ours had a private patio area. The cozy pool hot tub and fire pit was a great spot to relax. Just a quick walk to the beach and another short walk to lots of restaurants shopping and other beaches and museums. Will be back again with our kids next time.
Great hotel with an awesome surf vibe, I spent a few nights there, surfboards in the lobby and a real surfboard in my room. About a block or so from the small beach and a 5 minutes walk to main beach. Heisler park is a great morning or sunset walk. The only thing better than the rooms is the service and the staff
The place is clean and close to the beach. The staff are nice. Overall we had a great experience.
There is an additional amenity fee of $25 per night (for coffee and cookies) which seemed a bit excessive. Would suggest including as part of the hotel cost; it’s not great to see a $107 bill (including other fees) at the end of a 2 night stay.
I really enjoyed staying at the Laguna Beach House. Parking is easy underneath the building (but $25/day? Or maybe $35), but you get a cute little hot tub and pool and a fire pit, there's a wine happy hour every day, and the staff was super friendly. I slept very well in my bed which is pretty much the most important thing to me. You're also a short drive to solid Laguna restaurants, and you have a decent view of the sunset. When you find little gems like this, you write a nice review and you book again next time you're in town.
