  Whether you think you're in good health or not, this retreat provides the needed improvement in mental and physical well being! Im a 28 yr old that is always on the go from one place to another place. The one week that I spent at the retreat helped me to reconnect with my body and stop rushing around. I was able to take the breaks that I needed in the cleansing process and just sit, think, and relax. There is a great balance that Geo and Katreshia encourage and support during the week. This was my second retreat with them and I look forward to how ever many more may be in my future. Thank a lot for the knowledge, support and love. xo Brandi

  "Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes"(Katresha's favourite saying) and I have just spent a wonderful two weeks "changing" with the amazing help of all, at the fabulous The Pearl Laguna Hiking and Yoga Spa. No wonder The New York Times reviewed it as the best spa! Geo and Katresha Moskios, world renowned Yoga Masters, have designed a most beautiful Zen retreat and the programme is the best I have ever experienced. In fact, I travelled across the world from Perth, Western Australia to once again experience their yoga teachings and their great wisdom. From the moment you are woken with those log fires burning on those cold days to the end of the day, The Pearl Laguna runs like clockwork. The food was delicious, beautifully and stylishly presented....I cant wait for Katresha's cookbook to be published....My room was lovely, complete with a very comfortable bed and a divine pillow, that I sunk into every night and had been freshly made each day when I returned from hiking those amazing Laguna Hills....or should I say mountains.....with those exquisite views. I live around a river, so they seemed like mountains to me! The staff are so amazing and caring from the guides who were always there watching us through their binoculars, thinking we didn't know!!!! to the gorgeous food prepared for us to the Yoga and Tai Chi instructors to the fabulous massages each day to the fairies who laundered my clothes. So travel light!
  23 inches and 11 pounds left my body, but more than that I had fun and feel strong! What more can I say, except THANK YOU!

  The Pearl more than I expected!! beautiful home which felt like being at home...very professional without being stiff..
  good balance in terms of physical activities, rest and socializing..the body was never overworked but fully worked...I felt i was followed with good care in every way by the staff members and by the lovely owners.
  Results? well? good body, glowing skin,felt in heavens by the massages
  and the food? hummm the food!!! was a delight a bliss!! and never felt hungry!
  clean is a simple word to describe how detoxed the atmosphere felt all around the house.
  and the Yoga! well it was as i imagined: power yoga a good nice workout to start the day followed by a deep relaxation at the end of the day; without underestimating the possibility of a place to meditate and experience a deeper side of yoga...
  A Must!!
  Back home in Panama,central america, people wondered where i had gone to? i came back 10 years younger!! they all said. thank you the pearl people for their kindness!!!

  My week long experience was amazing on every level: emotionally, spiritually and physically. Everyone on the staff was superb; the hikes were challenging; the food was exceptional, and the yoga classes were so beneficial that I have decided I am no longer yoga-phobic. I have been in the habit of skipping meals -- too busy to eat. No more of that. I know what is good to put into my body for nourishment -- I learned how to take breaks and rest. And I achieved amazing results. I lost weight (not really my primary goal) gained energy (paramount) and my eyes (which are the windows to the soul) cleared up. Stopped tearing and all the redness went away. How? I don't know. Just trust the process. I have returned to my daily life with new tools and techniques that are easy to follow. And the guests were terrific. We have organized a little support community to keep us going. I hope to return next year. Thank you to everyone at the Blue Pearl: Derek, Conrad, Anna, Lucia,Sara, Barbara, Geo and Katresha, and to all the massage therapists. Namaste.
