Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios

We came to the Z Ultimate Studio as a referral from a friend at school. Sensei Sarina was friendly, helpful and encouraged my kids to participate even though they had NO sports or Karate background. By the end of class the girls were begging to sign up for the full program! It’s been a month and at 4 times a week including group and private lessons, the girls are so proud to show off their moves and excited to attend class to extend their Karate knowledge. Class is fun, structured, organized and all the instructors have been amazing! I hear there is Yoga on Wednesdays and I’m going to try that myself as well! Definitely a great program and great for any age. Mine are 7 and 10. There are older and younger kids in the class all learning together! It’s been amazing!

I love this Dojo. My son has been a student for 5 years and enjoys class. Great environment for the kiddos to learn discipline, self defense and more. Great for adults too!!

My 15 year old son has been going there since he was 5. He recently cleared "Black Belt Jr." (meaning he knows what a black belt knows, but he's still too small for "Black Belt"). I think it's helped his self confidence, and he is getting some leadership skills practice now too.

I had no idea where to start when looking for a place. I tried a few different places at first but as soon as I came to Z-ultimate everything just felt right. This place has become like a family to me. They push me to go further than I ever thought I could go. They are also very mindful about safety first and setting precautions to avoid injuries.

Learning martial arts has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life. It has enhanced my spirituality, brought balance to my soul and has calmed my anger. Testing for my yellow belt was seriously difficult and pushed my body and mind to its limit. But I didn’t quit. At the end of it all I cried, my body was crying and I’m pretty sure my soul left my body. I wasn’t perfect but I didn’t stop. I absolutely love this family I have joined at @zultimatelagunaniguel and I can’t wait to see where else this journey takes me. No matter what though, I don’t quit, I don’t give up.

I have been going to this dojo for 10 years now, and while I did have a rough spot a year ago, there is a new sensei who helped me a lot. Two months ago, and after a lot of work I got my black belt! Everyone is friendly, and I find that going to class is a surprisingly good way to start Saturday morning. Would recommend.
