  My father stayed at Aegis for respite after a hospitalization. We looked at a few options. It was the staff and facilities at Aegis that stood out as the best option. It turned out that my father had a few complications and the staff at Aegis was brilliant. We relied on them over and over again and the communication and care was excellent. In particular the general manager (Al), Missa (onboarding), and nurses Karen and Caroline were all awesome. They went out of their way multiple times to make sure my Dad was well cared for. I think they got more than they bargained for with him, and never complained. The only thing my father didn’t like was the meal times ended too early for him. I would definitely have him stay there again respite and Aegis would be a great option for full time assisted living. It’s a small community but they always had something going on: music, games etc.. We’d all be lucky to live at Aegis.

  The staff at Aegis really works hard at giving the best service to their residents. My husband is not the easiest to work with, yet they do so diligently with a smile.

  Our dad has been at Aegis Laguna Niguel for 2 1/2 years. We have always felt that he is well taken care of, physically, mentally and socially. Staff knows residents and family on a first name basis and sincerely cares about our family and our dad’s well being. We love the stable, safe and family atmosphere of Aegis. It really feels like a home for our dad. We have never worried for his safety and know he is loved and cared for by his Aegis family. We couldn’t imagine him anywhere else. We are grateful that Aegis was a choice for him when the need arose for him to have assisted living and the transition to memory care was practically seamless. ( Thank you Eric and team for coordinating everything when we moved our dad from his assisted apartment to his memory one)

  Of all the assisted living or nursing homes I have been exposed to, Aegis Living Laguna Niguel is definitely the best and top quality place in regard to:
  1. Overall facilities in layout, upkeep and cleanliness, safety features. etc.
  2. Personnel (management and it's employees) in competence, friendly and caring attitude toward the residence, and overall atmosphere of the place.
  3. Meals served in healthy, tasty, and well balanced.
  4. gathering of families of the residence for every major holidays with good foods and good times.
  5. Recognition of the birth days of each residence with birthday cake and happy songs.
  6. Many more (too numerous to list here).

  Every time here I come here to play the piano or teach music to one of the residents, they all seem very happy! The facility is in top condition--very clean!!! No foul odors or anything I could even think of negatively...
  All of the staff is extremely nice from the front desk to the individual caretakers!
  Certain special staff that I work with such as Allison, or Susanna are always going out of their way to be especially friendly to all of the residents!!! 😃😁☺️
