SLI is hands-down the best VORTAC to utilize in the LA basin. You won't catch me navigating with other VORs when I shoot the ILS 30 into KLGB.
Note: Some days out of the year, the SLI VORTAC is out of service. And as another reviewer has mentioned, the VOR is almost useless when you're directly overhead... But other times, it's great.
